Linear electro-pneumatic positioner for precise control of pneumatic valve actuators
What is a positioner for?
The sensor measures temperature at the heat exchanger outlet and transmits the data to the controller. The controller compares the measured temperature with the setpoint.
When adjustment is needed, the controller sends a command to the positioner. The positioner precisely adjusts the valve stem to regulate the process flow.
Features
4...20 mA, 0...20 mA and 0...10 V. Adjustable range, direct or reverse output.
Control, parameter setting, and integration into a process automation system.
Light ring gives instant feedback on device state.
The measurement error is less than ± 0.5%. Repeatability is 10 microns.
Auto-tuning adapts to your valve characteristics.
Basic parameters and manual operation are available directly from the front panel of the positioner.
Control of internal errors and input signals.
Setting the valve response to the input signal.
Modifications
Both versions support analog control and Modbus RTU. The difference is in the additional inputs and outputs.
For basic analog or digital valve position control.
When external feedback and additional digital signals are needed.
Already have a valve?
Please send the model, a photo of the label, and a general view of the valve. When we recognize the equipment, we can often provide an initial recommendation. If compatibility cannot be determined from the photo, we will request dimensions, additional data, or arrange a site visit. Either way, just contact us — the rest is on us.
Check compatibility A photo helps to start the selection, but the final decision sometimes requires measurements or a closer look at the equipment.

FAQ
A device that receives a control signal, regulates the air supply to the pneumatic actuator, and drives the valve to the required position.
As standard — for VALMA ASV-series valves. It can be used with normally closed (NC) valves from other manufacturers with a stroke of 5...45 mm and a full stroke time of up to 30 seconds. The design and adapter must be checked.
4...20 mA, 0...20 mA and 0...10 V, and RS-485 Modbus RTU.
V1A additionally has an analog output (AO), two digital inputs (DI), and two digital outputs (DO).
In some cases, yes. The valve type, the stem stroke, the pneumatic actuator design, and the mounting adapter must be checked.
Yes. You can select a complete kit: VALMA ASV-series valve, pneumatic actuator, and positioner — pre-configured and tested.
